Pausing between trembled notes and decrescendo notes?
Hi,
I have 2 problems with the music (the file is attached below). First, in between measures for the first violin's trembled notes, there is a slight pause before a new measure even though they're hooking, and I'm wondering why that is. Second, between the fifth and seventh full measures, I noticed the trembled notes are getting quieter, when I want the opposite to occur. This is happening with and without dynamics in the piece.
Thanks!

Using MuseScore 2.0.1 and Win7, I cannot reproduce any of the problems you complain of. Everything plays back as I would expect it to do from what you have written in the score.
What OS and version of MuseScore are you using?

I am use OS X El Capitan (current version) and MuseScore 2.0.2.
The note isn't getting softer, but it isn't getting louder either - that because MuseScore does not support playback of crescendo/decrescendo over the course of a single note. True, with the tremolo, in theory we could, but so far no one has implemented this.
I do hear the pause. Technically, the ties are not needed, and probably the code to handle playback of tremolos isn't quite handling them correclty. Feel free t file a formal bug report (Help / Report a Bug, from within MuseScore).
