Rest somehow in the wrong measure
Hi.
Sorry if this issue is already brought up, couldn't find it with search.. ..so:
I just copied Dvoráks Humoresque violin part as I had only the full score. Now, I havecopy-pasted parts that repeat, meaning the main opening theme. Somehow at some point of writing one of the rests has jumped ten measures backwards, making one measure have too much time and one too little.
However the rest is still played (or not played, u get it) at the correct position and not present in playback where it is presented in score. So it is a display bug.
I have no idea about how to fix this, so eny help is appreciated. A screensnip is attached to demonstrate the problem. The rest in upper part that is hidden should be at the bottom in the measure that is missing it.
Respect

Okay, I did some surgery and found this from .mscx file:
Rest
offset x="5.25" y="-55"
So I replaced the line
offset x="5.25" y="-55"
with the lineoffset x="1.25" y="0"
which fixed the issue.I have absolutely no idea why MuseScore had adjusted the offsets to such wild numbers.
ps. Is there a way to copy-paste XML here so that the forum displays tags, in other words does not interpret them as HTML tags, so that they actally show?
You could have selected the rest and press Ctrl + R to reset his position. Still it's weird that copy paste does this, if you can reproduce, please post the steps.
Regarding XML on the forum, you could use an online HTML encoder
