Two whole bar rests in one bar and rest that stays when measure is deleted
For some reason there are two whole bar rests in a single bar.
Selecting the measure and using Del (which should leave just a single whole bar rest) does nothing.
When I use Ctr Del to delete the entire measure, one of the whole rests stays there, just floating in space.
There is no way to get rid of this floating rest
This is a very frustrating bug since I have to create a whole new project and copy/paste everything into it as there is no other way to get rid of the rest.

Please share the score, not just a picture of it. The pictures look like a corrupt score, see https://musescore.org/en/node/54721 on how to fix it
But also, be sure to use the msot recent version of MuseScore. These pictures appear to have perhaps come from an extremewly old version of MuseScore. Chances are good the bug that caused the corruptions (and those definitely do look like corruptions) was fixed long ago.
Looks like an older version of MuseScore when applying too much shrinkage ("Less Stretch") would cause bars to overlap, barlines out of place and elements moving off to the extreme right of page.
