The simple line fail with offsets and hooks

1) "My First Score"
2) Select a rest/or note/ or measure -> double-click the simple (straight) line from the Lines palette

Expected result:

Actual result: the line overlapps the top line of the staff

3) Drag the line above the staff (or in Edit mode with middle handle and up arrow)

4) Edit mode -> Select the right handle -> Shift + right arrow for extending this line to another system

Result: the offset is lost

- Other problem: with hooks

Begin to the previous step #3 (line above the staff, for better view)

4) Right-click -> Line properties
5) Tick "Hook" (Begin and End) -> Ok

Result: nothing happens

But:
6) Edit mode -> select eg the right handle (same with left handle) -> Shift + right arrow

Result: the hooks appear :)
