Problem creating decuplet
I'm trying to reproduce the following passage:
Using instructions found here https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tuplet I enter a crotchet rest > Notes > Tuplets > Other > enter these settings:
but the result is this:
If I try much the same for 13, it works fine and I get this:
Is there a bug? (I'm on latest version).
(my interim solution is to enter two pairs of quintuplets).

Start with a quarter-beat rest. Click on it and enter 10 in the space of 8. Then click on the first rest and press 2 to start inputting 32nd notes (demi-semiquavers). You may need to adjust beaming starts to get smooth beams.
Why 10:8? Well, there are 32 demi-semiquavers in a 4/4 bar and you want to place 10 in the space normally taken by 8 of them.
Why doesn't it default to demi-semiquaver entry? Dunno.

Thanks for the advice - of course I should have been entering 10/8 instead of 10/16.
The problem is that it doesn't then default to the correct note length, and shows a misleading set of tuplet rests (5 semi-quavers instead of 10 demo-semi-quavers). So I think there is a small bug here, though it is possible to get the right result if you know how!
As shown here in the first bar:
thanks again.

Yes, the system is a bit too clever for its own good sometimes, combining rests that it probably shouldn't.
BTW, you can fix the beaming in the 10-plet using the Beam Properties palette (to get rid of the sub-beam between the first and second groups of five).
