I enjoyed writing this piece and I hope someone finds this work diverting.

This is absolutely gorgeous! :) Are you studying composition?

thank you for your kind words --- I am very moved that you found my humble effort enjoyable.
I have studied music and theory/harmony since childhood and have always loved Bach (though play the classic guitar). I could not pursue music professionaly and became a physician --- however, all my life I could hear sounds/music/feelings from within that I always wanted to express in music. But why compose when I could never hear it played?, however, this wonderful program allows me to express these inner most musical thoughts.
Again, I am also very happy that you found this music enjoyable.
I have actually edited the piece and will post early next week (the week of 9/26/11) --- I felt the middle section needed to be expanded to express a greater sense of emotional depth (in related minor keys) and counterbalance the material from the initial choral exposition(s). I hope you have another listen if time permits, and of course, I hope you find the piece stil to your liking.

as promised (a bit early as I had a copy on my work pc) -- this is the amended version. Again, I hope someone else finds some emeasure fo joy in this piece. Thanks.

i like the change up on the harmony at bar 79. you don't expect it to go that direction.
i think the trill at bar 103 gets buried. in real life it might not be that way, i don't know.
i enjoyed this piece. it breathed, rolled like ocean waves.

Thank you genesis_piano...I am glad you enjoyed the work --- I have always enjoyed triple meter time -- something about that meter always seems to lend a gentle (depending on the material) swaying, waltz like quality?...or as you stated "...rolled like ocean waves...:" --- I like that analogy too.
