Can I have completely empty bars?

I am using Muse score to make out practice sheets for my students for writing notation. I write four bars then leave four empty bars and they have to copy the notation exactly in the empty bars - except all those bars have a semibreve rest in the way
Is it possible to have completely empty bars??
Maybe you can do this already but if so I can't find it on the system.

well, most likely it is not a semibreve rest, but a full measure rest. They look identical, but the latter can also fill e.g. a 3/4 measure and is centered, the former is left aligned and has exactly 4 quarters in lenght.
Still Shoichi's advice is correct, you can't delete voice 1 rests, but you can make them invisible, select them and hit V
