undo paste does not restore rests in secondary voices
I keep running into strange problems when cutting and pasting with multiple voices and have finally isolated one of the problems ...
version 1.1
winxp
1) create a measure with a quarter note in voice 1 and a quarter note in voice 2 (or voice 3 or voice 4)
2) select and copy those notes and paste them into the 2nd beat of the measure -- all is well so far; the notes will overwrite the rests for that beat
3) undo the paste and notice that rest for the secondary voice is not restored.
Is this a known issue?

No I don't think it's a known issue. As a workaround you can Edit -> Voices -> Exchange voice 1-2 twice.
I can reproduce with current trunk too. I create an issue #12599: Undoing multi-voice paste does not produce multi-voice rest on previously occupied note

thanks for the work-around. The other ways I tried to fix this up did not help. It seems that in the scenario I described that, after the undo, voice 2 loses one beat in that measure; the only result I could manage was to move the 3 remaining beats around some. Also, I guess this work-around is only valid to fix voice 2, correct? (i.e won't work for voices 3 and 4?)

oops -- disregard the question about the work-around and voices 3&4. I now see that you can exchange those voices with voice 1 as well.
