MuseScore corrupt - needs to be re-installed on Ubuntu

• Oct 2, 2016 - 23:29

My MuseScore 2.02 is corrupt, some program pieces are missing: When I try to enter a correction by selecting a note, the page view jumps to a different page, and I cannot see what I am doing.

It has worked before. How do I uninstall it and re-install it on Ubuntu 14? Anyone knows?

Go into the Software Centre and, type in "MuseScore" and "Remove" Musescore then re-install it. Or consider ubuntu 16.04 (or wait a couple of weeks for 16.10) and upgrading to MuseScore 2.0.3. It might not be a MuseScore or ubuntu problem as such but related to dependencies or problems with Qt or GCC etc.

BTW, jumping to a different page (well, jumping to the next page) is normal (if unwanted at times) behaviour in MuseScore when entering notes at the end of page.
