paste creates extra beats in voice 2

I found a cut-and-paste sequence that creates extra beats in voice 2.

- begin with 4/4 measure containing one half note and two quarter notes in voice 1, and one half note and one half rest in voice 2
- select the two voice 1 quarter notes and ctl-x to cut
- select the half note in voice 1 and change its duration to quarter note
- select the first rest in voice 1 and ctl-v to paste
- end result shows voice 2 with one half note followed by two half rests
- expected result: voice 2 has one half note and one half rest

is this a known issue?

Have repeated this bug following these instructions on MuseScore 1.1 XP Pro SP3

It also occurs in MuseScore 1.1 on my Linux box running Ubuntu 11.04

Does an official issue need opening??
