how to insert percussion in normal voice staff

hi,
i arrange music for choirs. i sometimes need to insert percussion notes that i want to sound like a certain percussion sound while playback into a normal voice staff. is there a way to do that?

Not directly in 1.1. You can certainly create appearance of percussion notes by right clicking a note and changing its properties (note head, etc), but not playback. For that, I usually just create a separate staff used just for playback.
