does anyone have a piano piece?
I would like to learn a piano piece but am finding it hard to find one, so if any of you have a piece that you wouldn't mind having me play, please post it here.

i really like it!
Just spent a little time on this needs alot of work but hey its only 1/3 of the way there and it still needs to be polished but give me an opinion. Also if you can and are willing or know someone who is; I am arranging this piece once finished for a full orchestra. So I could of course use all the help i can get. Just an fyi Thanks

I think this piece needs to be modified a lot. I personally am not a fan of the melody from 1-20 but it's fully acceptable. at the part from 21-31, 38-44 sounds like a train wreck, mostly because of the chord choice. Your bouncing between major and minor (Ab minor and D major) but Ab minor is not a pleasing chord to hear, especially in this context. If your going to use the dissonant chord surround it by other dissonant chords. From 32-37 and 47-end both lack really a melody. When your writing a piano piece you need to have a very strong melody and a lot of it. Look at the piece I posted on this thread as an example, it always has a melody or a melody and a counter-melody. I would recommend you take your piece and expound upon the melody in the first section. One final recommendation to improve the melody in the first section, pick a key, it doesn't look like you actually have a key (Unless you were writing in the dorian mode using minor chords??).
Lastly, just a question, how did you name the piece? The only angkor wat i know of is the territory in the future edition of RISK. But I have no right to call you out on names, mine was titled "melodic piano".

Simply put this is merely the piano part of a whole orchestrated piece. I wouldnt personally overly concern yourself with the chords at this stage I'm merely just trying to match it up with the rest of what I already have prepared. But seriously thanks for your input. As the title, it was already titled by someone else who originally put most of this together. As for their reasoning I have no idea but yeah Angkor Wat is a temple complex is Cambodia is memory serves correctly.
