making a CD from musescore
I need to make a music CD of my score from the mscz. format. The Windows media player and HP media players won't play the wav. files I created from musescore(save a copy as...) or Mp3's that I created from Google's filminx. How can I accomplish this task, to create a CD? Thanks for any help.

What error message does Windows Media Player give when you try to play a WAV file? I've never had any problems playing WAV files created from MuseScore. You are selecting WAV as the file type when you do the save, not just changing the filename, right?

Yes, I tried it again and continue to get this error message: "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file." I'm using Windows 7. The strange thing is that 1 of my 8 wav. files play.
I've now spent hours on this with no success. No matter where I save the wave file or how, it will not play in Widows media player. There's got to be another way to make a CD with my computer from a wav. file created by musescore.
Also, HP music player error message says that it can't recognize format. What can I do that I haven't thought of, yet?

You could post a sample score so someone else can try making a WAV, to see if the problem is with the score or with something on your system. Also, what soundfont are you using?

Thanks for the kind offer. I finally got it going. I deleted all files in media player, set up a new folder and it worked. Right now I'm burning a CD!
