The plugin framework previously didnot allow the programmer to find out about text attached to notes. The request is to add this ability. I have a sense the new QML framework might just do that.
Access to Harmony and fingering in plugin framework

The plugin framework already has access to Harmony in MuseScore 1.2. At least it's possible to add chord names. It's the same currently in MuseScore 2.0. Fingerings are nowhere yet. Maybe the default placement should be fixed first.
1.2 allows adding chordnames, but not reading existing ones. I guess I was hoping having more direct access to data structures in 2.0 would allow one to read existing chordnames and thus create plugins for playback of chord symbols, export to other formats, etc.
