Select the note with which you want to add a grace-note. Double click the grace-note icon or press the grace-note shortcuts if you've assigned any. If you want more grace notes, just repeat the action again: double click the grace note icon multiple times until you have the proper amount. This method requires adding the proper pitches afterwards.
You can also use the keyboard shortcut "/" to add grace notes, just press it as many times as you want grace notes. Or, if you mean multiple grace notes at the same time, enter the firs,t then press Shift plus the letter name to add more notes to the chord, just as you would for normal (non-grace) chords.

Marc, thank you so much for this tip. I never could find the grace-note icon, but using the "/" is easy. Interestingly, I searched the MuseScore 4 Handbook for "grace notes," Nothing turned up.
I just noticed how old this tip is. An oldie, but goodie, I guess!

Note that the original tip refers to double clicking on the palette item to add it to the score. This changed long ago and now requires only a single click.

" I never could find the grace-note icon "
All the different types of grace note are in the Grace notes palette, so you may need to add that palette to your collection by using the "Add Palettes" button.
See Handbook: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/palettes#show-hidden-palette

By default, only the more common palettes display, but the rest are available by simply clicking "Add palettes". See the Handbook section on using the palettes, in the Basics chapter, for more info on that.
There is a whole page of the Handbook on grace notes. Not sure how you searched, but the best way is to click the link for the printable version of the Handbook and using your browser's search facility (usually Ctrl+F) to find content on the page. But you can also click the link for the full table of contents in the same way to find terms that appear in page titles or section headings.
You can also use the search facility within the palette itself to find the grace notes - just click the search icon and type "grace" into the box.
