Drumline Sounds
I can't seem to get the marching bass drum or marching tenor drums to play what i have written. Instead all I hear is nothing coming out of the parts. I have the latest version of Musescore.

Make sure you are using the marching version of those drums, and make sure you are using the defaults, not the obsolete extra soundfont or custom instruments.xml that were designed for older versions of MuseScore. if you are still having trouble, then please attach the score you are having trouble with so we can see what is going on.

See my previous comment. It looks like you are using some obsolete customized version of instruments.xml - or maybe a template built with one - and not the stock drums included with current versions of MuseScore. Those obsolete hacked files won't work any more - you need to add the regular marching tenor and bass drum included with MuseScore.
