Changing file type. (The issue's bigger than you think it is.)
So, when I try to export a file after I've changed the file type to MIDI, I'll go and look for the file and when I find it, its in the PDF format. I was just wondering if there was a way to change this or stop it.

I'm going to guess you are either on Windows XP, or are using a version of MuseScore other than the US English version.
If you are on XP, you need to be sure to actually give your file the ".MID" extension in the filename when you create it.
OR
If you are using a translation other than US English, you might have an outdated translation in which the translated menu items don't sync correctly with the actual menu. Solution is to go to Edit / Preferences and update your translations.
If that doesn't solve your, please give more info - including what version of MuseScore (as reported by Help / About), what OS, what language, and any other info that might help someone reproduce your specific environment.

I have V 2.0.3 on Windows Vista home premium. It is the English version.

Vista is also unsupported (by Microsoft,), but perhaps the same trick will work.
