Left & right hands and sustained notes
I'm trying to match the notation in the attached fragment. It's for 2-hand piano. The bass note in the left hand is a quarter note, but the left thumb plays a half note. The right hand plays a pair of quarter notes on the even beats.
How do I enter this in musescore? There are a few things going on, including separating and distinguishing left and right hands and mixing note duration in a chord.
Thanks for any help you can give. I've attached an image showing how it looks in sheet music.

You need "voices". See here in the handbook:

And by the way, as is written in your example, it is the right thumb that plays the half-notes :-)
