Percussion Bug
1. Create a new score
2. Insert "Cymbal", "Snare Drum", and "Bass Drum" in the instrument list
3. Create notes along all three of the percussion instruments' staves
4. Play back the notes
5. The wrong sounds are played
I used the alphanumeric keyboard and the mouse to input notes along various pitches of the staves. It appears that when a note from the drumset that resembles the desired percussion instrument is input, it is automatically brought up to the staff line. For example, in the drum set, there is a note for snare drums. When this note is inserted into the snare drum staff, the note is brought up to the staff. I have attached a file that contains multiple wrong notes for the cymbal, snare drum, and bass drum.

I have also found the same note problem to occur with the maracas. Play the attached file.
Note entry via alphanumeric keyboard is not implemented for the percussion staves you mention. However MIDI and mouse entry (via the drum palette) should work. r.1667 has the drum input crashes which is probably why you are exploring different methods of input, but methods describe in the handbook should work in 0.9.4 or the next prerelease (see drum notation ).
