Silence at start when exporting to MIDI
When I export to MIDI, I get a measure of silence (rest) on the resulting MIDI file. Thus when I open the MIDI file in a media player, the first note won't sound instantly...
Is there a way to disable this?
Thanks a lot

Do you have rests at the beginning of your score?

Nope. But here's the file just in case I'm missing something...
(it actually doesn't have to be this file. I tried creating an empty file and filled a measure with some random notes. same thing, a bar of silence when exporting)
I'm using 0.9.4
A midifile cannot start with a noteon. A lot of events are send first to initialize controller, set instruments. etc. Switch to GM mode and selecting an instrument is slow on some external instruments. So it is good practice to start with a silent first measure which is used to initialize the instruments. A fraction of a measure would be long enough but then measure start/end could not be reconstructed anymore (you can not find out where the first measure really starts).

Midi file players can and do handle files with noteon at time 0 very easily. See http://musescore.org/en/node/1583#comment-3478
