Exporting with canvas image/color

Unless I've overlooked a particular setting, it seems the PDF-export tool omits the canvas image and background color settings. Third party applications can apply backgrounds of course, but it would be a nice option within MuseScore for the Preferences->Export settings to have something like "Apply Background Color/Wallpaper on Export".
