How to scroll through score during editing
I cannot scroll up and down properly during editing without accidentally making changes to the score. I have resorted to closing and re-opening the document each time I need to scroll to another section. Can you tell me how to scroll to another page forward or backward to do editing?

I use the mouse scroll wheel and Shift + scroll wheel to scroll horizontally. You can also use the Pageup / Page down buttons of your keyboard. Or click in an empty spot of your score and drag.

when you click on an empty part of the score, hold the button down and drag.

Also, you have to leave Note Entry mode if you wish to navigate by dragging the score, otherwise as soon as you click to start dragging, you will find yourself placing a note.
Scrolling using the mouse wheel or the Navigator at the bottom of the screen works fine even if you are in Note Entry mode.

This is good, Marc Sabatella. I tried to drag incorrectly in the past and produced a heap of unwanted notes, but now I know how to scroll with or without leaving Note Entry Mode. I really appreciate your help.

Great! Thank you very much, lasconic. I am glad I don't have to waste time struggling with this any more, because it is so easy (although I had no idea before you told me).
