Can't delete clef and key signature after adding less stretch
Hi,
I wanted to bring the measures 3 + 4 into the the same line and did that by selecting both and choosing "Add less stretch", which pretty much worked well. However, the clef and key signature of 4 (which was the only maesure on its line before) did not disappear, and I don't seem to be able to delete them. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Musescore file attached...
Thanks in advance,
Christian

I suspect the the file has become corrupted.
When I started editing it all sorts of weird things were happening.

Thanks for having a look... anything I can do about this? What's the best way to save as much of my work as possible?

open a new score, and copy
For instance the 1st left hand measure shows (by my 1.1 ubuntu musescore) a superfluous G key, but pastes without it

Open your corrupted file.
Drag the palette "Clefs" any clef on undesirable clef ( it should turn red ).
Drag another armature on the unwanted armature (it should also be red)
Do the same on the second staff.
Then select the two keys and the two armatures and press "Suppr" key.
All must return to normal ;)

The only corruption I see is the clef and keysig. You could change them to something else, and back to normal.
See attached file, hopefully fixed.

Everybody,
thanks a lot - this really is a helpful forum!
@lasconic: Thanks for the fixed file! However, I got exactly the same problem with measures 13 + 14 - I could get rid of this with the workaround of Jall2. Shall I file an issue on this?
@Jall2: Thanks for the workaround!
Cheers,
Christian
