I really appreciate the fact that you used the same type of orchestral instrumentation that Mozart or Beethoven wold have used. It has that nice traditional balance. What I love in this piece harmonically though is around m. 66 where you use a major diatonic descent over the dominant chord as a segue to a modulation using the same melody. Beautiful. I only wish I could hear this performed with actual dynamic structure instead of MIDI sounds.

I believe that orchestras don't need lots of instruments. It is easier to write for less instruments, and in fact, you are right. Mozart and Beethoven did use that particular orchestra.
