Export (PNG and SVG) with tail width set to 0 shows tails.
We tried to create a sheet for a song without tails (see Amen.mscz).
As we didn't find another way to hide them, we set the tail width to 0 in the style settings.
The result as shown in MuseScore can be seen in the attached MuseScoreScreenshot.png
Unfortunately this styling is not reflected properly when exported to either PNG or SVG, see the respective export.* attachments for reference.
kind regards
jongleur

Stemless notes are easy to create in MuseScore - click the "Stemless" box in the Inspector (select a range, click Notes button in Inspector to make sure you have only notes selected). Or set the staff itself to stemless in the Advanced Style Properties under Staff Properties (right click a staff to display).

thanks for the quick response - that works, and solves my current problem.
Nevertheless: shouldn't be the result of PNG/SVG export be different with a width of 0?

Probably so, but equally likely is that the fix would be to simply disallow setting this width to 0 :-)
