Google translate:
The palette comes out so small that it is barely visible on the Screen
Are you using some high-resolution monitor?
If so, try to run MuseScore with the -x option, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/command-line-options-0
He probado con la linea de comando la opción -x y no me funciona me sigue saliendo pequeña la paleta.
La resolución de pantalla que tengo es 1360 x 768 (recomendada)
He cambiado la resolución de la pantalla a:
1920 x 1080 ,no funciona, paleta pequeña
1600 x 900 , no funciona, paleta pequeña
1280 x1024 ,no funciona, paleta pequeña
1280 x 960 ,no funciona, paleta pequeña
1280 x 768 ,no funciona, paleta pequeña
1024 x 768 ,no funciona, paleta pequeña
Google translate:
I have tried with the command line the -x option and it does not work for me.
The screen resolution I have is 1360 x 768 (recommended)
I changed the screen resolution to:
1920 x 1080, does not work, small palette
1600 x 900, does not work, small pallet
1280 x1024, does not work, small pallet
1280 x 960, does not work, small pallet
1280 x 768, does not work, small pallet
1024 x 768, does not work, small Palette
1360x768 is not really high-res, unless this is in a 10 inch screen...
Are you saying '-x nn' isn't doing anything for you or just not inceasing the palette?
Does -F (facrory reset) do any good then?
El comando que tecleo en la línea de comando es:
C:\Program Files (x86)\MuseScore 2\bin\MuseScore.exe -x c:\users\feliciano\documents\musescore2\partituras\gavota.mscz
me carga el programa y se ejecuta, pero la paleta sigue saliendo pequeña
si tecleo:
C:\Program Files (x86)\MuseScore 2\bin\MuseScore.exe -F c:\users\feliciano\documents\musescore2\partituras\gavota.mscz
me carga el programa y se ejecuta, pero la paleta sigue saliendo pequeña
the -x option takes a parameter, you didn't specify one
Try "-x 2" for a start
Ok. Now work perfectly. Bud how can I to execute this program since icon?, in this case with double clic in icon not work well, pallete very small.
Right-click the Icon, properties / target, add the -x N there
Is there anything unusual about your monitor or how it is connected? We know that MuseScore has trouble correctly dealing with TV sets used as monitors. It also has problems if you have two monitors connected at once.
I try executed MuseScore with these options:
-x 0 Palette very small
-x 1 Palette size normal
-x 2 Palette size big
-x 3 Palette size very big
-x 1 should be the same as without -x Option. But if it helps you, who am I to complain ;-)
-x 1 Should be the same as without -x Option, but doesn't be.
That, to my unknowledgable ears, suggests that a bug has been located.
It indeed suggests that there is a bug, but that bug is far from being located I'm affraid
My thinking is, if -x 1 should be the same as without the -x option, but it isn't, then there's a spot where you can explicitly code to use -x 1 if the user doesn't apply an -x option.
Which might break it for others. Until we understand what is going on, change that affects the default case - which works correctly for probably 99.9% of users - is ill-advised.
i have found a very quick and dirty fix.
when you go to open musescore, unplug the monitor input cable, then (without moving the mouse) double click. the screen will have no input but the computer will be opening musescore. after about a minute, plug the monitor back in. musescore will be open with normal sized palettes.
