Playback volume
I am now using musescore to enable my choir to listen to and learn their part in a piece of music but my students say that the volume on their tablet is not very loud. What can I do to increase the volume on play back

You can check the volume in the Synthesizer (which is available from the view menu). Be careful to not get it too loud because the sound becomes distorted at a certain point. You can also go to the mixer (press F10 or view menu) and see if there is room to turn the volume on a line up there.

Realistically, though, the speakers on most tablets just aren't loud, so nothing you do with settings can change that. Invest in some speakers you can plug in, or connect via Bluetooth.
