Note nudge is cancelled on redraw
Came across this issue whilst entering hymntunes.
As we all know a unison semibreve in 2 parts is displayed with the 2 parts side by side. MuseScore doesn't yet do this automatically, however.
If you attempt to correct the display by nudging the notes in edit mode, MuseScore shifts them back into the old position on screen redraw.

It's hard to understand what's happening step-wise in the screencast, but could it be similar to this?: #11703: [Trunk] Re-moving note head returns to original position
I think I might understand now - you're moving what would otherwise be a hidden note, via keyboard (as is indicated in your post)?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but my report seems to focus on one note, whereas yours indicates it could also happen if you alter the position of another note?
The error reports are certainly very similar.
I took it to happen when MuseScore redraws the screen.
I will do a bit more testing when I have a minute and see if I can establish whether it is the screen redraw which puts the note back into its original position.
