Can I skip a measure on subsequent plays
Is there a way to play a measure the first time through but skip over it the next time? If this uploads properly, what I want to do is: 1st play: 1 through 8; 2nd play: repeat 1 through 7, then 9 through 13, go to measure 5; 3rd play: measure 5 through 7, 9 through 12, skip 13, play 14; 4th play: 5 through 7, then 15. This allows the D.S and D.S. al Coda to do their thing, but I'm stuck with measure 13 getting played the second time through. The only reason (redundant) measures 13 and 14 are both there is so that I can get back to measure 5 twice and jump to the proper last measure by skipping 8-14 on the final play through.
Or...Is the a cleaner way to do what I am attempting? Thanks for any help.
BTW, I'm using 2.0.3

Complicated roadmaps are a problem for MuseScore, but also for real musicians
Have a look at this:

Aha! :-)
I would have responded earlier, but my eyes glazed over and I fell asleep when I first read your written description of what you wanted to accomplish. ;-)
Probably the same for Jojo... as your directions sound (i.e. read) more complicated than they actually should be.
Anyway, as you can see, I re-used measures 5-7 (instead of your 'redundant measures' 13-14).
As a soloist, I try to keep my score pages to a minimum - with no page turns - so I know where you're coming from.
Regards.

Actually, you responded much quicker than I had expected and I appreciate your time and effort.
As with many old engineers, I can be overly explicit at times. It comes from a history of being asked, "Can you give me more details." :)
If, like my wife, you're an insomniac, I'm glad I was able to get you a little extra sleep. ha-ha
