2. At the instrument step, add guitar.
3. Click on staff.
4. 'Add Linked Staff'.
5. 'Finish'.
6. 'Instruments'.
7. Click on below staff.
8. 'Remove'.
9. 'OK'.

Result: Time signature and bar rests are missing.

Discussion: See attached PDF for reference. If you enable 'Note Entry' and enter a note after step 9, there's a crash.

When I try this, the time signature remains, but the contents of the measure - whether bar rests or notes - disappear. And it crashes if you then click a measure and go to note entry mode.
