Adding duplets
I'm trying to transcribe a piece in 12/8 and one part needs to have duplets rather than 3 quavers. I'm having endless problems doing this - anyone have a way of doing this please

Ctrl + 2 but sooner select the duration (note or rest)
When you set the duration set it to dotted 1/4 note (crotchet) (either on the tool bar or pressing 5 followed by the . ) then press ctrl-2 to make a duplet of two 1/8 notes (quavers).
