e-Mail address got banned

• Feb 27, 2017 - 15:33

Please kindly move this to a more appropriate forum if it is not appropriate here.

For the 2nd time, I had experienced getting banned for no apparent reason to both MuseScore and its forum when I tried to do a login. The only things I did were to download some MuseScore files. The banned message said something like this The e-mail address has been banned ... Has this happened to others?

Hi habibie, as we are fighting against some spam attacks lately, we are continuously adapting our anti-spam strategies. As a result, there will be false positives and also some nuisance to our existing users.

Your email has been unblocked now and the anti-spam script has been improved. Don't hesitate to reach out to support@musescore.org in case this problem would occur again.

Thanks for your understanding.

Update: recursor.net has been banned as it's a disposable mail service used by spammers. So any email from this domain has been banned. If you have another email address, I can replace it with your existing one. Apologies for the nuisance.

I do understand and completely agree with you w.r.t fighting against SPAM. I used one of the free disposable mail services / domains (recursor.net) from spamgourmet to fight against spams.

BTW, is there a way to reach you through a PM for some private discussion on this subject?

Please disregard previous message. Finally, I managed to change my e-mail address from the recursor.net domain to 33Mail.com domain and hope this won't be listed as a banned domain, too. Thank you for your help.
