missing beat
I'm using Musescore 1.2 with Windows 7. This is my first use of Musescore and I love it!
However on the attached bigband arrangement, line 2 (Alto Sax 2) measure 21 has only 3 beats. I expect it happened due to an inadverdant key stroke, but I can't recover the missing beat in that measure.

You seem to have messed up the triplets in that bar

Yes, I messed up for sure. But how do I add the extra beat? The measure only accepts 3 beats.

Here is a fixed version.
Unfortunately, it seems a corruption has developed in your score. There are a few of known bugs that can cause this (all of which are already addressed for 2.0 as far as I know), but I'm guessing this had something to do with a copy/paste of an incomplete triplet. The best solution I know of is to completely delete the offending measure (ctrl-del) then reinsert a new measure and reenter the contents. You can copy and paste the good staves to a scratch score so you can then copy and paste them back - just be careful not to copy the corruption (which is only in that one part as far as I can tell) along with the good staves.
BTW, something also seems wrong with your key signatures - they don't match. I mean, I realize these are transposing instruments, but the key signatures don't match what they should be to account for transposition, either.
[ looks like lasconic fixed it for you already! but should this happen again, that's how you can fix it yourself. don't worry, it doesn't happen often at all. just don't copy incomplete triplets, or empty measures in 5/4 or 11/4, and you'll probably never see this again ]

Thanks for your help. That might have fixed it. I'll have to study the solution some more in order to understand what happened.
