I hope it is possible to repair the file. Unfortunately, I cannot remember what I did before I saved the file the last time.
Thank you!

What MuseScore version and operating system are you using?
Did you try lasconic's suggestion from #18036: Musescore crashes at startup on Ubuntu 12.04, Revert to factory settings?
In reply to Did you try lasconic's by Jojo-Schmitz
Yes, I did that even before. I had selected to load the last file on startup, and the "LaReDo.mscz" file crashed.I realized that when I tried to open the file from a different computer. Thanks for the tip!
Here is a fixed file

Wow! Thank you very much! That was fast ;)
Could the same be done for this file? I put this up on a similar post to avoid making extra threads, but maybe it was ignored because the post was pretty old. If the file can't be recovered, I'll understand, but if it can, I would appreciate it very much. I believe I do have the current version of MuseScore which this score was made on.

Yes, that worked. Thank you very much!
I tried downloading to other computers as well!! could you also help with this one? I don't know how to repair.
THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!

It will open in a Nightly Build of MuseScore 2.0
You can download and install one of these without affecting your existing installation here:
http://musescore.org/en/downloadhttp://musescore.org/en/download
There is a lot of evidence of corruption - time signatures in the wrong place, empty bars etc. which may have been caused by copying and pasting tuplets (a known problem)
You will need to sort those by creating new measures, re-entering the notes and then deleting the corrupt ones.
If you then save to a MusicXML file you should be able to open again in 1.2
Sorry I don't have time this morning to do it for you.

Here is a quick try
Hi. Could you fix my score also?
I think its "Lumottu laiva" which crashes whole thing. I did run factory defaults and i was able to play other scores, but after loading this, musescore crashes and any other song wont play either.

Thank you very much! Can go on with it:)
musesore crashed?
Please help me on the following file. I don't know if it's the same type, but it even doesn't have the 'error' message box.
Whenever I open the file, I get a message box feedback from the computer saying an error occurred ( those common ones).
It would be very kind of you if you really fixed it. Many thanks. xoxo

get yourself the latest nightzly build (from the downlad page) and load that file there, export as XML and open that result in 1.2.
This usually fixes the problem and doesn't lose to much.

thank you for your suggestion. the work is now finished and looks great.
P.S. I retain the copyright of the work.
