Using key commands for extending slurs
Hey everyone,
I'm having trouble with the key commands for extending slurs. I searched everything that was listed to do before posting and could not find an answer. I have a PC, by the way.
In the handbook, it says that "Shift" + "Right" extends the slur. I do not have a key with "Right" as a label on my keyboard, and the arrow keys do not work for this (the arrows on the number pad don't work either). How do I extend a slur with key commands?
Thanks!

Did you doubleclick on the slur before?
The slur needs to be in edit mode. Double click it and several squares will appear on and around it. The square that is blue is the active square and pressing shift and the right arrow will move the square (that part of the slur) 1 note or rest right, shift-left arrow will move it left. Pressing escape twice will get you out of edit mode and deselect the slur.
I replaced "Right" with the arrow in https://musescore.org/en/handbook/slur.

I don't know where else to write this so I'll put it here.
When a slur is in edit mode, one of the edit squares is solid blue, this is the one affected by various arrow combinations. Your screen shots do not show any solid blue squares under first method.

They're not "my" screenshots, but good point. ;-) Do you want to take new ones, or shall I?

Go ahead, I can never make them look that good.

Done.
As it turns out, I was trying to move the slur right after I had created it in note input mode, and the slur was not selected.
Thank you for the help!
