Bug exporting as midi file

Bug: When you export a piano sheet as midi file, it no longer separates the channels for left and right hand, instead it exports as duplicates for both of them mashed together.

This worked fine in musescore v 1.2 and is incredibly important to me since i use midi files to practice piano.

I'm not sure if that was intended or not, but I would assume you can get the effect you want by creating your score as two separate instruments of one staff each rather than one instrument of two staves.

That would work but it's cumbersome to create two different pianos then remove the clef from one and treble from the other, not to mention the fact that i already have written sheets in one instrument which i can't separate unless i copy each and ever measure onto a new piano clef. Lots of work for nothing, i just want it to work as before.

As far as I know it never works "before". Piano has always be a single instrument using a single MIDI channel. The only way to circumvent this in MuseScore 1.2 was to create two pianos and remove the relevant staves. That's being said, I understand the need.
I don't think instrument.xml can handle an instrument composed of two instruments, but we could add a template file to have a piano score with two instruments setup.

The fact that we have 2 channels sounds like a bug though.
