Have parts combine on the score, but separate parts.
This feature probably already exists, but I need to know how to have parts combined on the score but have separate parts. For example: I have and alto 1 part, and an alto 2 part. On the score it is only one stave for alto 1 and 2, but there are two separate parts for 1 and 2 so I can print and alto 1 part and an alto 2 part even though they only take up one stave on the score. I probably made that sound way more complicated than it needs to be.

You didn't make it sound complicated at all. Since you have 2 parts on 1 staff there is no built in way to print individual parts. Are the parts written in one voice or two?
edit: my question sounds stupid if you don't understand it. If you click a note for the second part and it's green, it is written in 2 voices. If it is blue it is written in 1 voice.
Currently this can't be done directly, although a future version of MuseScore may support it. Meanwhile, just have three staves: one for alto 1, one for alto 2, and one for the combined alto 1 & 2 (use copy & paste or other means to avoid the need to actually enter the information multiple times). Mark the first two staves invisible so they don't show in the score, but go ahead and generate parts for them anyhow.

Musescore 3.0 should support it. That would be nice.
Is that what you ask? :
There is a score,
There are two instruments in one staff.
And 2 parts already created from it.
How could it be done?

It would be better if we could see the file.
