No sound during Playback
Hi everybody!
I use Ubuntu 9.04 (jaunty jackalope)
I installed mscore 0.9.4 directly from Ubuntu repository... (# apt-get install mscore).
But when mscore loads, and I click on "start sequencer play" Button to hear Mussorgsky's Promenade for example, no sound is heard and nothing seems to happen. All preferences are the default ones...
Regards
Vas

Hi again!
I've just noticed a similar problem posted in this forum by Alan Jordan.
O.K. I solved my problem setting ALSA audio device to hw:0 as suggested by the Installation notes... It was set to "default" before
No need to install JACK control
Thank you very much!
Vas

There is no file /usr/share/soundfonts/PCLite.sf2 on my system.
After changing Sound font in I/O tab preferences to some of files

The handbook has some instructions for sound settings that may help. On the Installation page look for the "Linux" heading.
