Rehearsal Marks
For an orchestral score, I want to add a rehearsal mark and a tempo marking above the string staves in addition to placing them at the top of the page. I have not been able to add the marks. How can I add the marks?

Shouldn't work to add these elements a second time on the the same position and move the horizontal and vertical offset?

Kind of. It won't stand up well if the staff distance ever changes, and you'll have to hide them in all parts (while leaving the originals alone). At least, those are the problems I foresee; maybe there is some clever way around it. But the staff text idea should work fine, then you only need to hide them in the one part they are attached to.
