Exceptions in Measures per System?
Hello again,
On the part I am currently working on, I have 6 measures per system for two pages. However the last measure is on its own line and I would like to make the very last line of the part 7 measures instead of 6 so the last measure wont be on its own. Is there any way to do this?

Not that I am aware of. About the only thing you can do now is manually drop line breaks at the end of each line (except the last), remove the "6 measures per line" setting and then re-adjust the final line stretch so the last measure will fit on it.
My solution to a measure on its own is to either click the tab “Layout” and select “add less stretch” or in the same tab select page settings and adjust your margins by using the space option under the word scaling.
The best way is to go to Style and put the number of measures per system to 0. Then use the line breaks to layout the music the way you want. See attached.
I recommend not using the setting for a fixed number of measures for system - it is too inflexible. Instead, as lasconic suggests, turn that setting back off (and don't use it in the future, either), then insert the line breaks where you want. If a large chunk of the piece *does* work well with a fixed number of measure per line, then select that range and run Plugins->Break Every X Measure Measure. That will insert the line breaks for you in that section of the piece, then you can insert the line breaks for the exceptions manually.
