second staff won't play
Hi,
I'm very new to Musiscore. I created a piece that played fine but when i add another 'instrument' (does not matter what it is) it will not play. Only the first staff plays. Any ideas?

If you try them I think you will find they do solve your problem.
Option one: set up a General MIDI SoundFont . This addresses the issue of no sound for more than one instrument. As an added bonus you get to hear sounds other than piano.
Option two: try the prerelease for the next version of MuseScore. Instructions for obtaining the latest prerelease is found on the download page of this website. Pick the one with the highest number for the most recent version.
