Ties across a beat
Hi all,
Sorry if this has been covered before, but I'm not sure what to search for.
In musical notation, I have noticed that notes which span a beat are often split into two notes with a tie (like in example B).
Is there a way that Musescore can automatically convert scores from looking like example A to looking like example B instead? I know, for example, that it does it automatically for notes spanning a bar change.
Many thanks for your help.

The soon to be released 2.1 has a tool for this, a "Regroup Rhythms" command

Seems to work. Good hacky fix while I wait for 2.1.
Thanks :)

The 2/4 trick won't really help in general, though - it will also break up half notes on beat 2, as well as dotted half notes and whole notes.
