mp3 conversion

I would like to take an mp3 instrumental, and change the time signature, from 5/4 to 6/4. I would copy/paste notes to fill out the bar. I have not been successful at converting the mp3, to midi, so I can see the notation. There are four instruments. Please advise. Thanks David
