Saving a Midi File to PDF?

• May 11, 2017 - 19:23

Generally I am able to save a midi file and export it to PDF in Musescore. However, I want to save just one track of a midi and then export ti to PDF. When I attempt to do so, Musescore displays the notation without any staff and naturally unreadable. All tracks can be displayed properly with full notation but not when I choose one particular track. Should I be able to do what is needed. (file attached) Thank you. Bob

That's because the voice you choose at GM (113) is the Agogo voice. (I know there is another sound on your instrument. But MuseScore understands that way)

Take a copy first. (midi file)
Then replace the voice on the copy with the equivalence in GM. (Example: Organ sounds: 16, 17, 18, 19, 20) and save it.

Try this copy in Musescore.
