I am running ubuntu 16.04. I updated from 2.0.2 to 2.0.3.
Did this : mscore -F Got this: initScoreFonts 0xb8fdde0
Creating interface for ScoreView object
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Please update to the latest version, 2.1 (use the AppImage if necessary), and see if the problem persists. If so, we will need more information to try to understand what is going wrong. Both 2.0.3 and 2.1 work fine in general on Ubuntu 16.04, so something unique to your system must be interfering. Try starting with the "-d" option to get more verbose info. Also try "-s" to see if it is sound-related, or "-w" to see if it is web-related.
