Stem of chord in tablature appears on stave at lines without notes
1. Open attached score (produced in 1.2).
2. Right-click bar.
3. 'Stave Properties…'.
4. Change 'Type:' to 'Tab'.
5. 'OK'.
Result: The stem of the chord appears on the stave at lines without notes.
Discussion: In the source that I based this excerpt on, no lines appear on the stave.
Perhaps the question is: Which one is most common?
Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (f80dfa7) - Mac 10.7.5.

If I am not mistaken, chenlung refers to this detail:
Looking for instance at the first TAB chord, between the '3' on the sixth string and the '0' on the fourth string, should a little stretch of stem appear crossing the fifth empty line (as MuseScore currently does) or not (as the supplied example shows)?
Thanks,
M.
P.S.: this thread is about a feature of the forthcoming ver. 2.0. Its 'natural' place should have been the "Technology Preview" forum; however, as we are asking for a sort of poll among users, we decided to post it here hoping to collect more opinions.
Hi Miwarre
I would like to ask - have you seen what MuseScore does in other scores?

Hmmm, I don't think I understand. By "other scores", do you mean scores with regular, non-TAB, staves? Yes, I daily use MuseScore and mostly with non-TAB, so I believe to have seen it quite often. However, non-TAB staves ARE different; no doubt there that the stem should go from the chord top note to the chord bottom note, without stopping at 'empty' spaces.
Or am I misunderstanding?
M.

I mean TAB staves of published (or whatever) scores :).
If multi-voice support is implemented, I think the stem between the numbers would have to be removed?
