Music Scores
I have a subscription to MuseScore. Why do all of the scores I would like to have still cost so much?
For example, Moon River costs $7.99 for the harmonica.

"Why do all of the scores I would like to have still cost so much?"
Because these scores are still in copyright, and royalties have to be paid to the original composer and lyricist (and probably to the publisher as well).
There are thousands of scores on musescore.com which can be downloaded for free, because the copyright has already expired. In many cases, that expiry simply means that both the composer and the lyricist died more than 70 years ago.
