Colors not saved for some items

I need certain parts of my music colored red. I can easily enough change noteheads, accidentals, beams, fingerings, etc. But after saving and reopening the file, all the colored accidentals and flags have reverted to black. It seems their custom colors weren't saved. Looks like a bug to me.
