Slowdown on Windows 10
Hi there, after a little chat with Marc Sabatella - who recommended me to use the Support forum - I'd like to submit an issue with Musescore 2.1 on my laptop (win 10 installed, without any known "memory issue" of sort): I notice a huge slowdown in editing scores of all kind, just a little bit like as the older version, when I solved it - nonetheless - cutting away the Navigation panel. Now I'm having trouble with all kind of scores actually, regardless of the length or the template... Note that I use my own loaded "style", with almost all text fonts changed. Anyway, It's way better to work with support/alternative scores (without any changed font, or lyrics or even "breaks" etc.) and then paste the edited music in the original one... Here's the last, simple score I was working on...
P.S. Sorry 4 my English ;)

Not slow here, just a very slight delay when moving a note up and down
Windows 7, i7 at 2.8Ghz, 8GB RAM, Navigator enabled
The font "Adobe Garamond Pro" you use is not available on my machine, so got replaced by "MS Shell Dlg 2"

So do You think is all abou the fonts? The slowness is unbearable: help me, please!...

Could be the font. When in doubt, try it out and if so: don't use it!

P.S. Note that I have not any other problem with my laptop...
No big slowdown on Windows 10 either, AMD A10@2.1GHz, 12GB RAM, also lacking that font

Thank You Jojo-Schmitz, but I've just uninstalled the font, and the issue remains the same... And It's not a matter of dragging or pulling notes up or down, but almost every operation is very much slow... I've just re-installed Musescore too, but nothing changes...

Nothing particular here too on a laptop (InterCore i5/2.2GHz, 4GB) and running under Windows10.
"but almost every operation is very much slow."
Could you be more precise? Which operation exactly, where - measure ? -, etc. ?

Everything: from writing (manually, with keyboard or with MIDI device) to editing (selecting, pasting etc.); only opening up new "blank score to work with, and then copying/pasting in the original one is working with a suitable pace...

Ciao Guido, it may not be the pc since here:
the score flows fluid
Does any program work in the background?
I don't know if it can solve but try https://musescore.org/en/handbook/revert-factory-settings

Well, here eg: copy-paste the last system (last written page 12) to the first sytem page 13 and on other following systems works without any particular slowness. And undo too.
So, something other in the environment of your system, don't know?

Thank You, but is not working: not just a small relief
