trill won't end
Hi folks,
when I use a trill on a four beat note, the note will ring for itself for another whole measure afterwards. (just the note without a trill. So if I trill four beats on "a" but the next measure would be "g", you can hear the dissonance because the "a" rings on in this measure. Any suggestions?

I can't reproduce, can you share (read: attach here) a (short sample) score that shows the problem?

Unfortunately I can't attach something right now.
I've got three measures. The first two are tied "a", so 8 beats "a" with a trill on all 8 beats. Now comes the third measure. 4 beats "g". The "g" is played but still the "a" won't stop to ring for this whole third measure (but there is no trill on it anymore).

OK, so it is #77376: Trills and other ornaments play incorrectly on tied notes. See the workaround mentioned there
Solved it by doubling the instrument with the exact same line. One is for optics and one for the play back (so I made one invisible and muted the other). In the play back version I removed the ties which are obviously not needed for the trill. everything works fine now.

That's the workaround I meant ;-)
